Vent Brush A useful brush that most stylists use- the “vents” or openings in the brush between the bristles allow more heat from the blow dryer to get directly to the hair. Made famous by Vidal Sassoon.

Vibrancy Refers to a brightness of colour. It is a positive description and usually means that your Stevie English colourist is very clever.

Violet A shade of purple, used to tone unwanted yellow or gold tones. (see toner).

Virgin Regrowth This is when the natural hair at the roots is longer that 1 inch and so the Stevie English hair colourist has to do the middle section before colouring roots because it takes longer to process.
