This just in: Hairdressing favourite Stevie ‘English is joining the evo family as their brand-spanking-new Colour Creative Director. Cue the fanfare.

He’s one of the industry’s most beloved figures.

A talented colourist, salon owner and all-round creative with a plethora of accolades (and clients) to show for it. Now, Stevie English is lending his pioneering vision, colour mastery and technical expertise to the team at evo hair, as the brand’s newly appointed Colour Creative Director.

With over 25 years of hairdressing experience, a namesake Sydney salon and a host of live education gigs under his belt, Stevie marks the perfect addition to the evo hair family; a team that counts Lauren McCowanJules Tognini and Jay Kownacki (to name a few) amongst its prodigious professional team.

A native of the UK, Stevie counts stints in London, the USA, Asia (and of course, his current home of Australia) among his professional highlights, having spent countless years honing his passion, craft and talents across the realms of hairdressing, colouring and education alike.

His salon, Stevie English Hair, houses a talented team of hairdressing professionals, who together hold 15 national titles, 50 state titles and 3 business awards. A former Australian Colourist of the Year (and multiple award nominee), Stevie also held post as the 2016 Hair Director for The Voice Australia.

Of his decision to join the brand’s ranks, Stevie shares; “I love that evo is a family owned business. Being a small business owner myself, this really flicked a switch. When this opportunity came up, especially at the grass roots of colour, it was too hard to say no.” And for that, we’re all thankful.

evo artists, get excited.
