Today i have been filming some confessions of an Ammonia free hairdresser. i was with with the guys from O&M, Troy Thompson, who's salon is in Rosebay and Lovinia who owns a salon just outside of perth we had loads of fun. Dont think this is the start of my acting career though.

KahDo And Vodafone
Thanks to the guys at KahDo and Vodafone, Im driving around around in a brand new Toyaota Yaris, its pimped up, with some serious branding all over it, im going to be hard to miss. As well as giving me a new car (thanks KahDo), i have the new iphone(thanks Vodafone) a brilliant business plan and on the back windscreen of the car is my logo! Happy Days.
Life
Well here we are again, another week is upon us, Kirsty , Verity and myself went to the launch of the new kevin.Murphy products, it was a good night. www.kevinmurphy.com.au, they have some new products, new ingredients in old products, with a abit of a facelift, more moisture in the shampoos, a new hairsray. Happy days.

Whos Hot?
Well another fine week here at Stevie English Hair, summer has just popped its head around the corner and people are out and about in force in Glebe. The road issues are not putting off revelers so happy days. I love spring, it would be perfect if their was a little swell. oh well.

Carbon Offsets
I'm going to have to have a serious blog today. Only once or twice a year, that i am serious, but today is one of those days.
There has been was a 'Carbon Offset Watch' report which was an independent survey which helps buyers distinguish the extent to which carbon offset providers are achieving real action to help mitigate climate change. This is a really good report, it can help us, the consumer who wants to do their bit for the environment, it helps understand the differences between carbon offset providers, so we can have confidence in our purchases.
The report reviews 20 carbon offset providers in Australia and rates them based on the quality and reliability of the offset; the providers approach to carbon reduction and management; and the extent to which the carbon products and services actually change or prevent the underlying activities that cause greenhouse gas pollution.
We here at Stevie English are really committed to doing our bit, and I'm glad to say that Climate Friendly who we buy are carbon credits was ranked number ONE!

The Weather
What a week. We had Verity coming back from Melbourne showing off all her work from Fashion Week, well done V. Kirsty, Georgie and Naomi are doing a shoot on Monday for American Crew so they have been prepping hair all week.
The weather has turned it on, it feels like summer! Glebe Point Road was heaving, with people everywhere. Weekends in summer are going to be fun in the salon.

But at the moment Glebe point road is one- way from Parramatta road to mitchell st for 5 weeks, so traffic can run south only. If you are coming from Parramatta road and want to get onto Glebe Point road, turn at Derwent street and then turn right at mitchell street. Any problems please give us a call in the salon.
